Whistler Day 4- peak to peak!

This was probably the day we were anticipating most. Maybe it's because ever since the Heavilands came home from their "whistler home" as James called it, he's been talking about the PEAK 2 PEAK! (It's in all caps because he always says it really loud and really fast). The Peak 2 Peak did not disappoint! If you want to read more about it, my sister describes it really well in her post from last Fall.

Here is Colter in eager anticipation for the journey ahead. I like this pic because it looks like he's headed out on an adventure clutching his Sophie.

We were pretty excited to take off:

The views did not disappoint. Simply majestic.

I could just squeeze both of these boys. xoxo

Inspired by my friend Trisha's post, we started this tradition as well

Entering delirious stage because we kept him up past his bed time.

The view from the top was amazing

I'll just throw in a couple up close and personal shots. I just love this face.

After nap time, we thought we could go back up for another ride like a lift ticket, but when we got there, they said it was a one time use only. boo hoo. We were pretty disappointed, but we made the most of the afternoon and walked around to some different spots we had spied throughout our different walks, but hadn't stopped at. We also drowned our sorrows in a double chocolate chip frappuccino. It's vacation right?

The funny highlight of the day came in the afternoon. Colter kept spitting up all over his white shirt (he had prunes for lunch so it had a slight orange/red ting). He started looking pretty dirty (but still cute)

When we stopped at starbucks, I looked outside and this is what I saw:

We finished the day by swimming at the complex we are staying at. Another great day!
