more snow... really???

We woke up on Saturday to a parking lot dusted with snow. The flakes coming down were the size of cotton balls! Only in Seattle can it be beautiful, sunny and 60 degrees one day, and then 32 degrees and snowy two days later.

We were supposed to go bike riding with Jess & Mark on Saturday, but because of the weather, we opted for some indoor time. We had a great time making and eating pancakes, blowing bubbles, rolling James down an air mattress and making home made play dough. We then tried to venture to a new restaurant, but because of the closures on i-5 we ended up paying way too much for some fairly decent mexican food.

Saturday evening we met up with some friends for bowling fun. I was pretty proud to have bowled 115 my first game, only to be disappointed with a mere 75 points the second round. We had a great time showing off our moves..

One of our friends even bowled 5 strikes in a row. That is called a 5 bagger in case you were wondering. Here is Jill after she followed her husband with 3 strikes.

After bowling we ate some take out food, ate cookies & played taboo over at Matt & Adelle's house. The girls dominated.. what else would you expect :)

the center of the universe & beyond

We had an incredibly busy week last week.. We visited Lindsey & Steve at the hospital on Wednesday, had Matt & Adelle + baby Owen over for dinner & American Idol on Thursday, on Friday we went to Jessie & Mark's and ate some incredible cajun chicken alfredo and watched probably the lamest movie ever.. I can't even tell you what it was about, because I slept through most of it.

We watched James on Saturday morning while Jessie and Mark went to watch the wildcats play U dub. Ben went to his glass blowing class in the afternoon. He had a really good time and came away with a really cool paperweight and a goblet which he has to pick up later. Apparently he had a really pretty vase almost completed but then it cracked :(

Saturday night we went out on a date night with Dan & Jill. We went to Agua Verde for dinner and then went to Simply Desserts to play cribbage and of course eat some dessert. We then walked around Fremont and checked out all the crazy statues.
