the tree hunt

It's the most wonderful time of year! We have officially made the switch from fall to winter! Our pandora has been playing the James Taylor holiday station non stop, we are working on our third 1/2 gallon of egg nog, and the thanksgiving leftovers are starting to dwindle.

This morning we headed out on our tree hunting adventure. A few years ago we were hard core, but after we landed a pathetic Charlie Brown tree, we decided to stick to the u-cut tree farms. Our favorite is St. Nick's tree farm. Free hot cocoa, tractor rides, and great prices on beautiful trees. How fun to go with our little man this year!

dragon!

We had so much fun dressing our little man up for a full day of festivities.

In the morning, Colter and I ventured down to visit Ben at his office. He was quite the show stopper with his costume.

He was really into looking out the window. Doesn't he look like a dragon perched on the edge of his lair?

In the afternoon, we headed down to Edmonds and met up with the Heavilands for some trick or treating.

We of course had to make a stop at Chipotle for $2 burritos (you had to dress like a farm character). Colter was so wiped by this point, he still made a cute farmer though!

What a great day.
