The Crowl Family Adventures: April photo dump

Seems as though I can't crank out very many blogs these days.. so pictures in mass quantities once a month will have to do :)

I always try to be tricky on April fools, and my ideas almost always fall flat. This year I did a little tricking with Colter, but he's too young to even understand "joking" so we never mentioned that you can't actually grow doughnuts from seeds.. wouldn't that be awesome though?!

All of my pranks on Ben were total bombs. The worst one of all was when I tried to put our bag of plastic balls in the cupboard and have them spill out on him when he opened the cabinet door. When he opened it up, the bag just sat there and like 1 ball fell out. I was sitting right there, so he brought the bag over to me and ask a joke, dumped the bag on my head. I totally forgot that I had put all the balls in the bag, not just the plastic ones, so 8 golf balls fell onto my head. It hurt SO bad I seriously thought a weight fell on my head. April Fools backlash! I did send Ben to work with a casserole dish filled with brown letter "E's." Ben told people he brought brownies.. it tricked so many people.

This guy loves getting a steamer about as much as I love making chais at home. His favorite part is the foam.

A trip to hobby lobby resulted in us having a sword fight with ourselves in the mirror. Yes, those swords definitely came home with us.

Gotta get outside when it's as beautiful as this!!

President Obama came into town to visit the area of the mudslide in Oso. We ventured out to Paine field twice to catch a glimpse of Air Force One. We actually saw it in the afternoon.. such a fun experience! Now every time a plane flies overhead Colter asks "is that air force one?"
