Our family is definitely spoiled in the grandparent department. Right after Nana rolled out of town, the help and fun continued with Gigi and Grandpa.
We had absolutely brilliant weather when they were here- sunny most days with a random snow shower, which actually isn't surprising since it pretty much snows every single time they visit. We had lots of adventures- a trip to McDonalds where Gigi climbed all the way up to the top of the play structure since Colter was a little hesitant. We also ventured down to Edmonds for some train hunting, went downtown to dad's work for lunch and to introduce Madison, and spent the morning over at Jessie's house riding bikes and playing inside. Mary & Greg took James & Colter on a special outing to the aquarium where we all learned that toddler/preschool boys can consume as much food as 3 adults.
Now you know why I have contemplated hiding in a closet this week now that all the help is gone. We have been absolutely blessed by the non stop support during this crazy transition.
