* Ben turned 28 at the beginning of the month, which begins the 4 month stint of us being the same age. Ben went out with some guy friends for some darts, and we celebrated at home with a couple tasty meals. Happy Birthday love!
* I had two baby showers earlier in the month- one of which I co-hosted at our house for my neighbor Ann. Her nursery is gray and yellow, so we had a lot of fun matching the theme. Thank goodness for pinterest for all the fun ideas and free printables!
* We celebrated mother's day two weeks late once we got home. Man was I treated well! We finally discovered the secret to the melts recipe, belgian pearl sugar. YUM! At $7 for 8 oz, it's not the best bargain but man it does make it! Ok, back to mother's day- Ben made two rounds of the waffles- one for breakfast and one for dessert. He also planned for us to go to Lowes and pick out a hanging flower basket plus enough flowers to fill 3 other pots. Such a fun and creative gift. On top of all this fun, I got to take a nap AND I didn't change any diapers! Thanks for loving me so well hubby.

* We crossed the first thing off of our summer 2012 bucket list! We went to North Creek Park- man is it a gem! The boardwalk makes you totally feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. There were tons of birds, flowing water, and beautiful plants. The playground was also fantastic. On our second trip, we discovered a beautiful old tree with huge limbs that hang all the way to the ground. A perfect fort!! We will definitely be back.
* Colter's buddy Jackson dunked his way into being two with a bball themed party, complete with a cutout bball player for photo ops!
* Ben got some sweet seats for the Mariners vs. Angels game. Highlights included watching alcohol enforcement carry away a super rude guy, and the Angels coming back to win it in the last inning.
