Sedona & Flagstaff
The second leg of our trip brought us to our old stomping grounds back in our college days. It was so awesome to get a chance to visit as a family and reflect on all the changes that have happened since we left there 6 years ago. The last time we had been on campus was when Ben graduated, and man has it changed! We were so surprised how many new buildings and parking structures there were, not to mention the new road running through the center of campus! Perhaps one of the most random events that happened was when we ran into Ben's RHD from when he was an RA 6 years ago. Without any prompting, his old boss called out his full name and said "wow, what has it been? 6 years?" crazy memory! Who knows, maybe one of our kids will want to be a lumberjack someday??

We were blessed to stay at a 4 bedroom cabin about 15 min. south of Flagstaff. Colter loved the place- especially the screened in porch, the never ending rock piles, and the bear statue.
We spent most of our time wandering campus and eating at some of our favorite restaurants. On our way back to the valley, we spent a few hours in Sedona. No matter how many times I go there, I am always amazed at how beautiful it is.
What a fun opportunity!
