Our sweet baby boy

I thought it would be too cruel to write an entire post and let you in on our news at the end. To avoid any unnecessary suspense, I am happy to announce that Ben and I are going to be parents to a little boy. It has been a few days since we found out and the reality is starting to sink in. I am going to have a son! I am thankful for the little boys that I have been surrounded by the last three years. I really feel it is God's way of preparing my heart to parent a little boy. Honestly, I as a young girl and even into my teen years, I only wanted girls. After being around these new little babies and watching them grow, my heart has grown very tender for having a little man.

No final name yet, but I promise I'll share when we feel confident.

For girl food we had fruit + fruit dip, hazlenut pirouettes, cucumber sandwiches, and lemon poppyseed muffins.

For guy food, we had little smokies, 2 kinds of chips and pizza pockets.

Girls drinks: iced tea, strawberry lemonade & water.

Guys drinks: soda

Before the big reveal, we had everyone gather for a "team blue" and "team pink" picture

Team pink was a small but rowdy crowd.
