Portland

Ben had a work meeting in Portland, so we decided to make a family weekend trip out of it. We had such a great time for the little bit we were there.

On the way down, we stopped at an amazing fire truck park just before the Oregon border.

The next day we started off with mandatory Blue Star donuts, then went to the OMSI museum. Colter LOVED a crane that picked up blocks and delivered them to a barge. Maddie was so into the amazing kids part, especially the grocery store, the craft area, and the giant sand pit.

After the museum, we stopped for lunch at an incredible taco shop and dessert at a super tasty ice cream shop.. mmmmm still dreaming of those.

We then ventured up the sky ride to an amazing view of the city.

We finished off the night with the most amazing park we've ever been to. An old coworker that lives in Oregon, posts pictures of her son at this park, and I have always wanted to go. Not only did the park have a great playground, but there was a HUGE sand area with tons of machines to play with. As the sun set, I looked around and took in the amazing leaves, beautiful sunset, and my special family. My heart was filled with such gratitude.

Here's baby bean at about 16 weeks.
