My sister convinced a few of her friends/family to buy a jazzercise groupon. I was picturing it being sort of a joke, but it is no joke. Such a good work out.
On teacher appreciation night, we met up with the Wornicks and Heavilands at Chipotle and ate in the sun.
Colter is still taking gymnastics and it is such a wonderful experience. He loves spending time with his friends and it has done wonders to his motor skills/coordination.
We went to the salmon release again with the Borg family. Such a fun local event!
Colter is getting better with legos by the day!
Now that I have two eager riders at babies r us, figuring out sharing is a new concept
Maddie was working hard on her walking skills.. but she prefers to rapidly approach her target and fall into it.
She is also quite the ham
Every now and then something I try ends up being really fun for the kids. One morning we colored an egg carton and then walked around the neighborhood trying to find things outside that matched the colors. It was amazing how many beautiful things there are outside this time of year.
Colter and Ben went to an aviation day at a local airport.
One night I wasn't feeling well, so Ben took the kiddos to the beach.
One example of Colter's improving skills is his tball hits. That boy can crank out some grand slams!
Maddie is totally obsessed with the swing. Any time she sees one anywhere she lunges toward it yelling 'WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" She gets so sad when we can't swing.
Summer is comin!
Playing garbage dump is quite the fun past time unless you're the one cleaning up the giant pile of mess.
We've been shopping for couches and Colter is mildly obsessed with this red chair.
Ben bought a new estes rocket and we launched it at the park after church one day. Unfortunately we lost it after one launch. It was a great launch though :)
Jackson had a bday party and turned 4!
Ben took Colter to his first baseball game. The highlight was definitely taking the light rail to and from the stadium.. oh and the massive amounts of ice cream!
James came after school a couple times aand he had fun surprising Colter when he woke up from his nap. It is really sweet to see their relationship continue to develop and also fun to get some one on one time with James-o man.
I rarely get much time with the littlest Heavilands, but when I do it still surprises me that there are actually two little babies!
I took the kids to Edmonds one morning and I decided to just let them go crazy in the sand. All fun until you have to get into the car looking like this
One morning on an adventure drive, we came across two birds sitting like this. I thought it looked so fake I had to take a picture.
And then at the end of the month.. I got on a plane.. by myself.

Hi Becky! I don't do much with my own blog anymore, but I always read yours. I can't believe how big your kiddos are getting. They are so beautiful! I'm so glad you are doing well, say hi to Ben for me!
