Hood River

I would say that Hood River is one of our most successful parenting adventures yet. As most of you know, Colter has not been a fan of the car seat from day 1. The thought of driving for 4 plus hours made me super nervous. I should have taken a picture of my toy bag- it was pretty extreme! I was pulling out all the stops- blue krinkle, books, bobble head toys, and my endless repertoire of cheesy kids songs. The ride there was absolutely amazing. I barely had to do any entertaining, and he took 2 naps (they were only about 30 minutes long.) I fully expected to arrive exhausted, but I was so full of energy. The weather was gorgeous the majority of the trip and we got to do everything that we normally do. It is so fun to introduce Colter to our

traditions. We are already talking about going back next year and how fun it will be with him toddling around. There is an amazing playground that we can't wait to take him to.
