this man is lovin the sunshine!
My sister and I love discovering new things to do around the city. One of my favorite weekly newsletters came out with this awesome list of things to do around Seattle this summer and we were inspired to try to do as many of them as possible. This past weekend, my mom, Ben & I crossed two of them off our list. We have had some amazing weather recently so we took advantage and spent a ton of time outside in the sun.
On Friday, mom and I headed to the Edmonds waterfront and met up with Jill and Lindsey to enjoy the glorious sunshine.
Friday night Ben and I went out on a date- so fun to have nana here to babysit!
On Saturday, we headed down to the Edmonds farmers market and crossed #20 off our list- visit a market and pick up something for dinner. There weren't a ton of vegetable stands yet, so we opted for the one vegetable that we didn't know- too bad I can't even remember what it was! All I know is that it was spicy like argula and we sauted it.
After the market, we went across on the ferry and went to Kingston for some crepes and ice cream. Colter did great on his first ferry ride!
On Sunday after church, we crossed off #24- visit Lincoln Park in Seattle and go on the zip line. I was picturing a huge zip line, but it was more kid friendly, but still fun. The weather again was gorgeous, so we had a blast walking on the waterfront enjoying the sun.
I pulled a gutsy move and packed up all my sweaters yesterday only to walk up to today which is drizzly, grey, and 55. Love it.
