So thankful

I celebrated my first mother's day this year and it was so special! I remember last year my sister saying "maybe you'll be a mom next year!" I thought to myself.. no way. Here I am with a 10 week old!

Ben worked hard to make my first mother's day incredibly memorable. Our day started with a tasty breakfast Ben wiped up from a recipe in Sunset magazine.

We then headed to church where we dedicated Colter. What a special day to remember what an incredible blessing it is that Colter has been given to us to raise. He did so well and only started squawking at the very end. He did decide to blow out right in the middle of the sermon and of course I didn't have a change of clothes in the diaper bag so we had to leave church.

don't you just love the guy's face next to us? haha

Lunch was another one of my favorites.. turkey sandwiches on croissants with avocado, cream cheese and tomato.. yum!

We got a special treat in the afternoon of a 30 minute nap and then we went for a walk in our new stroller to starbucks for a 1/2 price frappichino.
.
We finished off the day with some tasty kabobs!

I feel so blessed to have these two guys in my life!

Again, happy Mother's Day. First one....junior looks like he's enjoying life. Still not sure if the hairdo is a rocker or mad scientist. If he decides to go the rocker route, I've got a great name picked out for the group: Colter and the Kools. Whadaya think?
