Bay View State Park

We booked a cabin at Bay View State Park with 4 other families. I feel like cabin camping is a safe route to be outside but also in the comfort of a little house :) Bay View is a fantastic place for families! It's super close to the beach, in the woods with TONS of blackberries all around, and a convenient gravel hill perfect for little boys who love to dig.

One the way to the park, we turned around in saw this. There are no words to describe the joy this brings to a mama's heart. We've been seeing bits of progress in their relationship. I'll take anything!

We stopped at a road side stand advertising strawberry shortcake. Can't pass that up!

The cabins were super cute inside! It was our first time staying in the same room. Once we figured out that Colter would sleep well in the same bed as me, things rapidly improved. Thanks to Ben for hanging out on the bottom bunk the whole weekend :)

I love living in the northwest SO much! There are seriously endless places to explore.
