Want to see a miracle?

This sweet baby is one tiny miracle! Every time I get to see one of our babes by ultrasound I am truly breathless at the miracle that takes place inside my body during pregnancy. God's creativity is absolutely miraculous. It is incredible to watch a perfectly formed baby wave its hand, rock back and forth, and stretch out its leg as it relaxes on its back. We had a wonderful ultrasound today for baby bean #2. Everything looks great and the due date is still around 2/11... although the head was measuring ahead.. imagine that :) We both are feeling that it is a boy.. I called the baby a "he" during the ultrasound..maybe I can't picture a girl after raising Colterman! My favorite parts were seeing the four chambered heart beating away, seeing her measure incredibly intricate things like the femur and the brain, and when the baby waved at us with two fingers. We laughed because this baby was super cooperative every time the tech mentioned needing to see a certain body part...unlike Colter who hid his feet as hard as he could and was pretty stubborn from the beginning! We shall see if this baby has a totally different temperament. We're having our reveal party this Thursday, so the envelope is safely out of my possession. I will admit, I'm so bad about ruining surprises I had the thought on the way to my sister's house that I should have brought an extra envelope so I could open it up and put it back.

We were very bad and took a video of a clip the tech took when she stepped out of the room. It was just a moment I didn't want to forget. The other pictures are from the printouts that we got at the end.

We are so in love with this little baby bean.
