Snowpocalypse 2012

Not that the weather predictions are always wrong, but most of the time when a HUGE amount of snow is predicted (for Seattle), it ends up being a big disappointment. This week, we were predicted to get our average annual snowfall in one day. News broadcasts started around 3 yesterday talking about the same thing over and over again, and showing the same car sliding down a hill. We ended up getting barely any at our house today, but we have gotten several inches over the last few days.

We've taken Colter outside a few times. He doesn't seem too impressed by it yet, since he can't walk, but he was amused when we threw snowballs or when some neighbor kids were out playing. I just loved seeing this little man in a snow suit :)

Give him a couple of years...once he gains mobility, watch out. Snow forts, snowballs, taking the Red Ryder BB gun outside (You'll shoot your eye out!), snow ice cream, etc. He seems very studious, but I think there's a boy monster lurking underneath...biding his time.
