This past thanksgiving was one of my most favorite that I can remember. The whole day was filled with so much love, genuine care, and gratitude. It was the first year that we were able to host , and as more and more guests were added to the list, I was filled with so much thankfulness for all the blessings we've been given- from the people to share the day with, to the home we've been given to host in.
We started off the morning with an icy cold walk around north creek park. Maddie preferred the comfort of the stroller and colter was all about breaking up the ice along the boardwalk, first with dsd, and then Rogan once he and his family arrived. I love getting out to exercise on the morning of thanksgiving. It was an incredible morning, such a brilliant blue sky!
We spent the early afternoon at the house catching up a bit on the Macy's parade, getting the house ready, and just spending time with family.
The rest of the gang came over around dinner time and it was a full house! In total we had 18 adults and 10 kids. the evening flowed so well. The kids all played great together upstairs and the adults were able to spend some good time together.
As the last guest left, Ben and I sat on the couch with big smiles on our faces , relishing in what a fun time it was.
Happy thanksgiving!
