January phone dump

Here's a whole slew of pictures from the month of January!

Annual trip to the spa with the ladies

Random shots with Nana in town.. I loved watching Madison and my mom's bond they are starting to form.

.

A trip to the kids museum.. I finally got our membership (thank you Gigi & Grandpa) and we've been there a few times already. Love it!

A chilly morning in Edmonds that warranted a stop at the coffee shop

A visit to dad's work downtown

A girls crafting night to celebrate Adelle's birthday. We had too much fun bringing "Stephanie" in for our night of fun

Sunday family dinners

We've been doing lots of cold weather digging these days. Madison is even getting in on the action now!

Colter's buddy Rowan turned 3 and we celebrated at play date cafe.

Bath time shenanigans

A very very cold trip to the zoo! We discovered a new play area we hadn't been to before!

Little lady still loves her swing an cries whenever I take her out.

The Heavilands took us to the EMP to check out the new architecture lego exhibit. We also had some serious recording sessions!

We finally got Colter's official big boy bed (he's been in the toddler bed for a while now) which means little lady got in a crib finally!!

By far the saddest moment of the month. Maddie fell into our nightstand and hit her lip on the corner just right. I started off at the pediatrician's office, where they told me I needed to go to Seattle Children's because of the location of the cut. I spent 3 hours there in the morning and by the afternoon the stitch fell out, which meant we had to go BACK to the ER for round 2. We didn't leave until 1 in the morning and it was quite possibly one of the worst days of my life. end of story.

These two do not play well together. at all. Most of my day is spent trying to distract Madison from trying to be a part of whatever Colter is playing with and telling Colter to be kind and loving to his sister. I had to document this moment because it was quiet, there was no hitting, and it was a very beautiful thing.

Ben took Colter for a special ice cream treat one night.

Colter started his gymnastics class. It has been really good for him. I wasn't sure if he was going to be too young, but he's really starting to get the hang of the class. He still wanders off occasionally, but he is doing so much better.

Well that's our January!
