What an amazing day Easter was.
Our morning started with an incredible church service at Qwest field where despite a drizzly and chilly morning, over 17,000 people came to celebrate for one reason. He is risen! It was such a spirit filled event with incredible worship, tons of baptisms, and an awesome sermon. What was once the least churched city in Seattle, now has held the largest church service ever in the Northwest. We stood in the top row bouncing Colter to avoid a major melt down, but I wasn't alone.. most of the top rows were filled with parents doing the same thing.. so we aren't the only ones!
The afternoon was spent at the Heavilands. We always use any excuse to make sweet potato casserole, so of course that was on the menu! We shared dinner with the Rikalos.. Colter can't wait to meet his friend Charlie who should be here any day!
