I have been on a sorting/cleaning frenzy and finally dove into the trunk of my car and found all sorts of interesting things. Last time my mom was up she brought up some of our school work from when we were younger, including a journal from 2nd grade I kept in class. I was in tears laughing over some of the things I wrote. I am attaching my 3 favorite entries:
The hilarious thing about this one was that my dad flew planes for the Navy. I was a little confused apparently. Good thing I noted that he is bald in case my teacher was wondering.

ok, to clear this up. I wrote "she only squeaked once, I mean twice." I am not that mean!
Ah yes....the javelina episode. I recall it fondly now, the skull on the roof, the smell, the ambiance. Too funny Bec, but, stink like mold? It had a distinctly locker room smell as I remember. You were such a cute little porcupine!
